Do I need to be medically trained to do begin a career in Aesthetics

No. We teach complete beginners. However to obtain insurance you will need to complete our "pathway To Aesthetics' Course before signing up to our Foundation Dermal Filler or Botox Courses.

This is the only way to get insurance to cover you as a non-medical proffessional.

Can I train with Mae Cosmetics if i am a medical proffessional?

How long will it take me to complete a course?

Accepted Answer

With a mixture of at-home learning and training days. It is hard to say exactly how long it will take you to complete the course.

If you head over to the individual courses there is a rough estimate time frame for each course.

If I struggle with the online learning how do I get help?

Your tutor will be able to offer you support through the L3 matrix app on any area's of the content that you are not understanding. Any technical difficulties will be managed by our L3 matrix web team.

What are the industry regulations?

As it stands there are NO certificates or qualifications that are required for a person to become and Aesthetic Practitioner. 
However we work directly with insurances that have stipulated the learning that a person must undertake for them to be granted insurance.

This is why we offer the online learning for our 'Pathway to aesthetics' as approved by our insurers.

We supply all the equipment you will need to learn your aesthetic course on your practical day.

We can also make recommendations for websites and companies to buy stock.

We hope that in the future there are more regulations within the industry. This means it will be safer for Practitioners and their clients.

By starting your aesthetic journey today you will be ahead if any changes are to be made. The sooner you have completed training and began practicing and gaining experience - the more you will be fully equipped for any levelled qualifications that may come into effect.
